Regi\u00f3n de San Gabriel<\/h1>\n

La Regi\u00f3n de San Gabriel de Caridades Cat\u00f3licas cubre una amplia zona geogr\u00e1fica, desde el Este de Los \u00c1ngeles hasta el Valle de Pomona, colindando con el condado de San Bernardino. Los tres centros de servicios comunitarios en la Regi\u00f3n, el <\/span>Brownson House Community Center, Pomona Community Center y San Juan Diego Community Center<\/span>, est\u00e1n situados en \u00e1reas de pobreza extrema y vulnerabilidad, por lo tanto, estos centros son sitios cr\u00edticos para las personas a las que sirven.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los programas que se ofrecen en los centros de servicios comunitarios de la Regi\u00f3n de San Gabriel incluyen: asistencia de emergencia y de necesidades b\u00e1sicas, como alimentos, vivienda temporal mediante cupones para estancia en un motel, transporte, programas especializados para cubrir los costos de la renta y los servicios p\u00fablicos para familias de bajos ingresos, y asistencia para completar la solicitud de CalFresh. Los programas de la regi\u00f3n se conducen mediante la gesti\u00f3n de casos, lo cual permite que el personal ayude a personas y familias a identificar sus retos de manera efectiva, superar sus dificultades y establecer metas alcanzables para un futuro autosuficiente.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n se ofrecen clases educativas y servicios para mejorar la calidad de vida, entre tanto: clases para padres, habilidades para la vida, talleres de salud, grupos de apoyo para mujeres y personas mayores, clases de ejercicio f\u00edsico, clases sobre la salud mental, programas de verano para j\u00f3venes y eventos especiales que se realizan peri\u00f3dicamente a lo largo de todo el a\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n
