McGill Street House

McGill Transitional House is a 7-bed transitional facility owned by the City of Covina. In partnership with the City of Covina, Catholic Charities provides a wide array of social services to women and children who are experiencing multiple and complex barriers toward a self-determined life and secure permanent housing. Through case management, individualized service plans are developed with the clients to determine the resources that need to be mobilized to help them transition to more stable and self-sufficient life styles. Clients are provided opportunities to enhance parenting skills, develop asset building skills, and nutrition and life skills. Clients are expected to participate in a budgeting class and have a savings plan for Money Management.
